Process
The first task you will need to do is choose a destination for your travel brochure.
Everyone at the "agency" must choose a different location.



  After choosing a location for travel you will need to:
1.)Find a map of the area.
This will be cut and pasted on the outside of the brochure.

2.)Find information about geographic features of your destination including landforms, surrounding bodies of water, weather, land use and natural resources.

3.)Find information about the history of your destination including early traditions, religion, and the date it was founded.

4.)Find information about the culture of your destination.

5.)Find out what activities or attractions there are for visitors to see and do.

6.) Answer the following question: How has the geography of your country affected the people living there?

Research:
The information about your location will need to be researched from the web sites located on the resource page and your textbook.

Next you will create your brochure
using the following guidelines:
1.) You must have at least 4 pages in your brochure.

2.)Put a picture of your destination on the front cover.

3.)You must clearly label each section of your brochure using the following headings: geography, weather, history, culture, and attractions/activities. These may be placed in any order.

4.)You must tell me in advance what area you are doing.

In addition, you must prepare a 3-5 minute presentation for your classmates telling about your destination.
